You will have the opportunity to hone your skills by working with both flexible workspace operators and traditional real estate brokers; expanding accounts with Valve’s suite of sales & marketing technology solutions. We provide a range of SaaS solutions that enable flexible workspace operators to both automate workflows and maximise sales & marketing distribution to resellers. You will be a key asset to Valve’s engineering team by owning the DevOps function within the team.
What will keep you challenged:
  • Work closely with designers, QA engineers, developers, and product managers in a cross-functional environment
  • Manage a team of up to 3 engineers
  • Speed up the development cycle by designing state of the art pipelines
  • Mentor more junior devops engineers on reliability and security best practices
  • Architect and implement pragmatic and scalable solutions 
  • Improve security and performance of infrastructure
  • Develop deployment strategies and pipelines to automate processes
  • Ensure that development and deployment infrastructure is flexible, easy to manage and use
  • Build tools and processes to streamline the tech stack our developers use

Which skills/traits contribute to your success?
  • Several years experience as a DevOps engineer with a focus on infrastructure, ideally in a SaaS Startup environment
  • Strong proficiency in at least one configuration management/infrastructure as code software, Terraform highly preferred
  • First hand experience leading a team and previous work experience as an engineer
  • Experience with setup and maintenance of cloud environments 
  • A good knowledge in the field of hosting, especially regarding web servers and database administration
  • Expert when it comes to monitoring/alerting and strong attention to keeping the system up and running
  • Knowhow to deploy software and track down the changes which cause any problems
  • Excellent skills in communication and business partnering in English
Please note that we are looking for support either in our Warsaw, Barcelona, France or London office or remotely within the UK or Europe. Eligibility to work within the UK or Europe is required as well.
